You Don't Have a Time Problem. You Have a Decision Problem.

I have heard it hundreds of times.

"I just don't have time for any of this."

I hear it from caregivers stretched between aging parents and growing children. I hear it from veterans who spent decades in service and now aren't sure who they are without a mission. I hear it from women in midlife who have given everything to everyone and are finally — quietly, guiltily — wondering if there's anything left for them.

Every time I hear it, I ask the same thing.

"Say it differently for me. Say: 'My dreams are not a priority right now.'"

Something happens in that moment. Every time.

Sometimes people go quiet. Sometimes they start to cry. Sometimes they get a little angry — at themselves, or at the circumstances that got them here. But what I have never, not once, seen is someone say those words and believe them.

Because here is the truth:

We don't have a time problem. We have a decision problem.

Time is not what's standing between you and the life you would love. What's standing there is a decision that hasn't been made yet — a decision to take your own dreams seriously. A decision to say yes to yourself with the same conviction you've been saying yes to everyone else.

That decision doesn't require a perfect moment. It doesn't require a cleared calendar or a sign from the universe or a guarantee that it will all work out. It just requires you to say — quietly, firmly, and maybe for the first time — I matter too.

Napoleon Hill spent a lifetime studying what separates people who build the life they want from those who only dream about it. His finding was simple: highly successful people make decisions quickly and change them slowly. They do not wait for perfect conditions. They choose, and then they let the choice do its work.

The dream doesn't need you to have it all figured out. It needs you to decide.

So let me ask you: Is there something you've been saying you don't have time for — that is actually just waiting for a decision?

You don't need to clear your calendar first. You just need to say yes.

Your dream did not die. The soul dreams. You decide. Your new life begins.

With you on the journey, Tracey
